Memo
Date: June 19, 2001
It is time, to present the
irrefutable arguments to the Jewish leadership and
ask whether they agree or disagree, and, if they
agree, whether they are going to reconsider long held
cemented perspectives which have taken Judaism and
the State of Israel to where it is today.
First, the irrefutable
arguments:
Number 1: That there can never be peace in the
Mid-East pursuant to any agenda that moves away from
rather than toward G-d.
Number 2: That the Jewish people cannot believe
that they will continue in the Land of Israel if they
adopt a government and leadership which creates a
country which acts and operates in defamation to
G-ds Name and Gift to the Jewish people.
Number 3: That there is a need to have every
Jew understand that Judaisms prime
directive relates to the protection of G-ds
Name and developing love for
G-d, as the two elements of existence which G-d will
not intervene or intercede to establish, and, which
without, there is nothing; which is in fact
the case today and the bases for our forthcoming
problems and woes, as has been the case since the
time of the First Temple.
This requires that the Orthodox
Jewish leadership, the ones believing themselves
primarily committed to Hashem, review, reassess, and
re-evaluate their role in the local, domestic and
world Jewish community. It is time to look at the
facts as attesting to the failures in the rabbinate
rather than seeing any bases to claim success.
When Hashem gave us the Land of
Israel after we left Egypt and the Sinai, part of
His gift was that we would have no enemies. We
engendered by our own hand our future: creating the
Assyrian, Babylonian and Roman invasions to offset
the defamation to Hashems Name and Gifts. When
we stand passive to the protection of His Name, there
is nothing, absolutely nothing, no Ten Commandments,
no Torah, no Mishneh, for Judaism cannot survive
long-term on a flawed foundation, as set forth by the
trilogy of writings the reference of your June 14th
letter.
By failing today to protect
Hashems Name, by allowing the Jewish leadership
to defame Hashems Name openly and publicly to
the world, while devout people, who pray three times
daily, study Torah weekly, sit with tape over their
mouths and hands in their pockets, will engender the
same result as in the past.
Who is situated to present this
irrefutable reality to the Jewish leadership, so that
they might stand up and admit that they act as though
they learned nothing from 2000 years of study in the
Diaspora, defaming the pleas and promises to Hashem
by the generations of Jews who preceded them?
Believe me, the souls of those
Jews who prayed so fervently for what we possess
today are troubled and in turmoil when this
generation, the best educated, with the greatest
wealth, in all of Jewish history, acts the way they
do:
- By failing to protect
G-ds Name,
- By failing to indoctrinate
daily the Jewish people toward love for
Hashem,
- By failing to speak or act
against a willingness of a Jewish leadership
to move Israel away from G-d,
- and allowing a government
showing a brazen willingness to desecrate
Hashems Name, starting with an opening
salvo of saying to the world that
Israels national airline would fly on
the Sabbath and by further declaring that
stores in Israel should be open with
government blessing to do business on the
Sabbath as well.
