The following is the third of three special memorandums written after Shavout in May and June 2001. It proffers persuasively that the Jewish people have no enemies, unless they defame G-d's Name or allow it to be defamed to the world, in which case they create their own dire future.

Re: Your fax of June 11, 2001

The concept of Kavod Hashem is the necessary foundation for everything that follows. When Moses came down from the mount, this man, the epitome of humility, the very last person whom you would think would destroy anything written by the hand of Hashem, did not find the need to inquire of Hashem when he threw down and broke the tablets written by G-d.

This was the first sign to the Jewish people that there is nothing, absolutely nothing for the Jewish people, when they defame Hashem’s Name or allow Hashem’s Name to be defamed to the world. Thus all that seems to be is but an illusion if those who live the illusion sit by idly and passively as the leadership of Israel blindly permits Hashem’s Name to be defamed to the peoples of the world. Thus the temple mount is a far thought and cannot and will not exist unless the Jewish people put everything aside to show Hashem and the world that they have learned at least this much from 2000 years of study, reflection, pleas and prayers, which have been answered by Hashem as promised in His love for us; but if we expect Hashem to not be angry when we allow His Name to defamed to the world, the clear case, when we willingly give back His gift, then we expect too much and can expect a consequence far worse than that already endured.

What are the Jews going to do the next time around? Plead with Hashem again? This is where a genuine Jewish leadership can teach and explain to the people of Israel what Eretz Yisroel is all about. Do they really think it was Ben Gurion who was the dynamic behind the survival of the State, or the IDF who defeated the enemy to recapture what Hashem promised. You see, rather than laud the IDF, even the IDF should have honored Hashem’s Name by telling the world that it was G-d not them that achieved victory. In this way we would have given something back to Hashem and it wouldn’t have started the path where mortal men think they play such an important role that one day, decades later, they can stand up to the world to tell them that Israel will be adopting a secularization plan to wit: publicly announce to the world that the State of Israel thinks little to nothing of Hashem.

This is what must be known and understood, and it is not enough for remnants of Jews to think it is enough for them to know better, because this leads to the Rabbi Akiva syndrome. It is not the Romans, nor the Babylonians, nor the Assyrians, nor even Araft and his henchmen who are the enemies. The Jewish people have no enemies: that was G-d’s gift to us after He gave us Israel. The only enemy has been and is ourselves in our unwillingness to see that our conduct engenders our future. If we allow the leadership of the State of Israel to continue to defame Hashem, then only a man who does not believe in Hashem can be foolish enough to see a better future.
