Condy Rice’s historic misspeak in May 2002: she said no one could have imagined terrorists deploying planes into buildings. SenderBerl itself was aware that day that intel existed in the pipeline to that very issue. Consequently, whether she was lying or otherwise President Bush would have to let his NSA go based on such an egregious faux pax. But not President George W. Bush. This of course led us to fixate as to whether Condoleezza Rice was really the National Security Advisor. Thus, for the other reasons we detailed at www.senderberl.com/bushrice.htm we concluded with confidence that there was an intimate relationship between them that incredibly was inspired by his father. 

Dr. Rice confirmed that she did not find out that there did exist intel about planes being used as missiles until she was first briefed about it in May 2002 AFTER her faux pax. Thus, the NSA admitted to not knowing relevant facts within the boundaries of her responsibilities while the true NSA Dick Cheney went forth spewing fear into the children of our country pounding the table in May 2002 that another bout of domestic terrorism was imminent.

April 16, 2004: SHANGHAI, China - It's said, a Chinese student told Dick Cheney on Thursday,
that ``you are the most powerful vice president in U.S. history.''

The remark underscored high curiosity about Cheney in China and a perception
that he's the power behind the throne in Washington.

Appearing a little unsettled, Cheney looked out at an auditorium of students
at Fudan University and struggled to answer a query about his role in the
George W. Bush administration.

''Well,'' Cheney began, ``that's not a question that I had anticipated.''

''Vice presidents usually do not have such power,'' Yang Changjiang, an
economics lecturer at Fudan University, said after hearing Cheney talk for
20 minutes and field questions from students for half an hour.

Dr. Rice made sure that all issues of domestic terrorism from Richard Clarke were sandbagged and kept from the President. Clarke gave his materials on domestic terrorism issues to Dr Rice who the evidence suggests forwarded it to Dick Cheney. Gary Hart said he gave Condy Rice five days before 9-11 important intel about imminent terrorism and she routed it to Dick Cheney.

SenderBerl: Gary Hart a former presidential candidate and who is a verified expert on domestic matters relating to terrorism has made it known that he finds it incredible that the 9-11 panel has not invited him to testify regarding 9-11. The relayed reason for his ire is that he told Condy Rice, someone he personally knows for twenty years, five days before 9-11, that major domestic terrorism was imminent. Hart told the Guardian his warning had been ignored.

"She [Rice] said: 'I'll discuss it with the vice-president',"Mr Hart said; but he felt the response was a brush-off.  "All I can say is she didn't feel the degree of urgency I thought was necessary," he said. He said he has known Ms Rice for 20 years, since she had volunteered to work on his Colorado Senate campaign.

Moreover, SenderBerl pointed to testimony given by Rice confirming her total ignorance and awareness of facts and issues essential to her responsibilities.

LEHMAN: Were you told that there were numerous young Arab males in flight training, had taken flight training, were in flight training?

RICE: I was not. And I'm not sure that that was known at the center.

LEHMAN: Were you told that the U.S. Marshal program had been changed to drop any U.S. marshals on domestic flights?

RICE: I was not told that.

LEHMAN: Were you told that the red team in FAA - the red teams for 10 years had reported their hard data that the U.S. airport security system never got higher than 20 percent effective and was usually down around 10 percent for 10 straight years?

RICE: To the best of my recollection, I was not told that.

LEHMAN: Were you aware that INS had been lobbying for years to get the airlines to drop the transit without visa loophole that enabled terrorists and illegals to simply buy a ticket through the transit-without-visa waiver and pay the airlines extra money and come in?

RICE: I learned about that after September 11th.

LEHMAN: Were you aware that the INS had quietly, internally, halved its internal security enforcement budget?

RICE: I was not made aware of that. I don't remember being made aware of that, no.

LEHMAN: Were you aware that it was the U.S. government established policy not to question or oppose the sanctuary policies of New York, Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago, San Diego for political reasons, which policy in those cities prohibited the local police from cooperating at all with federal immigration authorities?

RICE: I do not believe I was aware of that.

LEHMAN: Were you aware - to shift a little bit to Saudi Arabia - were you aware of the program that was well established that allowed Saudi citizens to get visas without interviews?

RICE: I learned of that after 9-11.

LEHMAN: Were you aware of the activities of the Saudi ministry of religious affairs here in the United States during that transition?

RICE: I believe that only after September 11th did the full extent of what was going on with the ministry of religious affairs became evident.

LEHMAN: Were you aware of the extensive activities of the Saudi government in supporting over 300 radical teaching schools and mosques around the country, including right here in the United States?

RICE: I believe we've learned a great deal more about this and addressed it with the Saudi government since 9-11.

LEHMAN: Were you aware at the time of the fact that Saudi Arabia had and were you told that they had in their custody the CFO and the closest confidant of al-Qaida - of Osama bin Laden, and refused direct access to the United States?

RICE: I don't remember anything of that kind.

LEHMAN: Were you aware that they would not cooperate and give us access to the perpetrators of the Khobar Towers attack?

RICE: I was very involved in issues concerning Khobar Towers and our relations with several governments concerning Khobar Towers.

LEHMAN: Thank you.

Were you aware - and it disturbs me a bit, and again, let me shift to the continuity issues here.

Were you aware that it was the policy of the Justice Department - and I'd like you to comment as to whether these continuities are still in place - before I go to Justice, were you aware that it was the policy and I believe remains the policy today to fine airlines if they have more than two young Arab males in secondary questioning because that's discriminatory?

RICE: No, I have to say that the kind of inside arrangements for the FAA are not really in my...

LEHMAN: Well, these are not so inside.

Were you aware that the FAA up until 9-11 thought it was perfectly permissible to allow four-inch knife blades aboard?

RICE: I was not aware.

LEHMAN: OK.

Anyone in this government that can look you in the face and declare that the National Security Agency that spends trillions monitoring and intercepting communications globally minute by minute day after day had no intel about what the terrorists in the United States had planned is deceiving you. When Condy Rice admits she was not briefed on terrorists plan on using planes as missiles until after she goofed is proof positive that she is not the NSA. Significantly it attests that there was and is a shadow government in operation.

Shadow governments are forbidden under our constitutional framework and shadow governments can operate and usually exist to operate against the national interests and for the select interests of groups with invidious designs. SenderBerl has long proffered that this shadow government is the one that structured and planned the government’s affirmative role in 9-11 and never forget that the 9-11 Commission does not seem willing to address the issue that there was no way a terrorist cell taking flight school lessons could have commandeered large commercial jets into the WTC with the PINPOINT ACCURACY seen on 9-11.

When it came to protecting himself, President Bush parallels his father who bailed out as the only survivor of his bomber during WWII. When it came to his personal safety, President Bush spared no time and effort making sure that he would not be the target of terrorism in July 2001 in Genoa. These dynamics were totally put aside when it came to protecting the country. He knew because Osama bin-Laden got a call on 9/6 and on the morning of 9/7 President Bush, in the midst of a historical condition of danger in the domestic front, and after being away from Washington an entire month, left to read with second graders in Florida. When in Florida, President Bush failed to connect the known expectation that terrorists intended to highjack planes with the known reality that planes were hijacked that morning and one just went into the World Trade Center (he also knew that terrorists deployed their attacks on symbolic landmark properties).

It takes a stupid man who is the President of this country to be advised the morning of 9-11 that planes were hijacked and one of them was run into the north WTC tower – and then to stand before the American people and have the audacity to relay his initial perception that he told those around him that this was the deed a “bad pilot.”

This country just went off the highest alert level in its entire history and this President confident that he would stymie any 9-11 inquiry or investigation had the nerve to relay that comical remark to the American people.

President Bush on April 13, 2004  told the nation that he would have moved heaven and earth to prevent the events of 9-11.  Here is what we wrote that carries eternal significance if not answered by the 9-11 Commission:

THESE QUESTIONS AND POINTS HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH SYSTEMIC PROBLEMS IN THE INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY

Mr. President -- forget about moving mountains -- how about canceling your visit to read with second graders once you learned a hijacked plane went into a landmark New York City building?

Mr. President, since you knew that there was a threat of terrorism using hijacked planes, how in the world could you tell the American public when you say you saw the first plane go into the north tower, that this was the deed of a poor pilot, as though it was a joke of some sort? By the way, how could you see the video of it before any video was known to exist of the incident?

Mr. President how about cutting short your stay in Crawford in August 2001 when putting the nation on the highest alert in US history and forgetting to tell the country about the imminent danger (when you found it appropriate to offer us the advice when misleading us when it came to Iraq)?

Mr. President, how could your National Security advisor help move mountains to stop the attack when she admits that she did not know until May 2002 that there was intel in the pipeline that terrorist were planning on using planes as missiles?

Mr. President Osama bin-Laden according to a video you released received a telephone call on or about September 6th 2001 about an imminent attack on the US. I believe it was a cell phone call. Do you believe that the National Security Agency had that call intercepted since the agency is tuned into his voice? If so did you receive that intel from the NSA(gency)? Mr. President, you changed your schedule suddenly on the morning of September 7th, did that have anything to do with the call Osama bin-Laden received?

Mr. President if our initial mission was to capture Osama bin-Laden wouldn't the best source to ultimately track him down be to have his family here in the USA for questioning? However, when all flights were grounded, was it you personally that authorized them to leave the USA and if not who authorized it?

 
Mr. President do you regret that the high status of alert during the six week period during the summer of 2001 was not extended another month?

Follow-up: Mr. President, how did we go from the highest state of alert to leaving the barn door open for the attacks of 9-11?

Mr. President, can you tell the American people why military jets were kept grounded for some thirty minutes after hijackings the very subject of concern of the August 6th memorandum to you? Since we were just taken off high alert, why didn't the military defense network instantly respond, knowing that the portal was open for domestic attack?

When you have to deceive the Congress and the American people in a formal proceeding regarding a central matter of national security, the events of 9-11, it is because you have something material and sinister to hide. Period.

You Have to Understand How the Administration Brings Forth Lies and Deception to the 9-11 Commission

Here is a vital excerpt of Dr. Rice's opening statement to the 9-11 Commission heard and relied upon by the country and the world. You tell us whether you see how the big lie is perpetrated by this administration.

At the beginning of the administration President Bush revived the practice of meeting with the director of central intelligence almost every day in the Oval Office, meetings which I attended along with the vice president and the chief of staff. At these meetings the president received up-to-date intelligence and asked questions of his most senior intelligence officials. From Jan. 20 through Sept. 10 the president received at these daily meetings more than 40 briefing items on Al Qaeda. And 13 of those were in response to questions he or his top advisers posed.

SenderBerl: We give up if the American public and media now swallow this legerdemain. This is repulsive. First, the question arises whether an opening statement is testimony and thus whether it is testimony under oath. Next, Dr. Rice QUALIFIED that the President met with Tenet daily only at the "beginning of the administration." Next, she says that only "at the beginning of the administration" did Bush ask questions. Next, when she says, "from Jan 20 to Sept 10 the president received at these daily meetings more than 40 briefing items on Al-Qaeda. And 13 of those were in response to questions he or his top advisers posed," the very sad reality is that all these meetings could have been consummated in the first 40 days of the administration meaning that there could be perhaps as little as none or only one or two meetings after May 2001. Thus, the reason the White House must have died when Tenet testified UNDER OATH that he did not meet with Bush in August 2001 while Bush was on vacation for an entire month while the country faced the threat of domestic terrorism. Moreover, the President's was so on top of things that after taking thirty long days away, an historical amount, from Washington, he decides to CHANGE HIS PLANS ON SEPTEMBER 7TH TO TRAVEL TO FLORIDA TO READ WITH SECOND GRADE CHILDREN.

CIA corrects Tenet but not under oath!

The CIA telephoning to correct Tenet's testimony does not change Tenet's testimony under oath. So he should be invited back to correct it under oath.

WASHINGTON - CIA Director George Tenet misspoke Wednesday when he told the
commission investigating the Sept. 11 attacks that he had not visited or
spoken with President Bush during the month of August 2001, a CIA
spokeswoman said Thursday.

Tenet traveled to Crawford, Texas, to brief the president on Aug. 17, 2001,
and met with him again Aug. 31 after Bush had returned to Washington, Anya
Guilsher said.

Tenet made the mistake under questioning by commissioner Timothy Roemer, a
former Democratic congressman from Indiana.

Editorial: Connecting dots/Bush's culpability for 9/11

National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice's testimony to the 9/11 commission Thursday allows for only one conclusion: The Bush administration was outrageously derelict in its duty to protect the American people as the Al-Qaida threat developed. Consider a few of the many issues on which Rice and the commission focused:

•Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright previously told the commission that during the millennium threat of 1999, key members of the Cabinet met almost daily at the White House to discuss the threat with counterterrorism director Richard Clarke. Clarke said those meetings ensured that Cabinet members would "shake the trees" in their departments and bring forward any information about the threat. It worked.

Rice testified Thursday that in the high-threat period during the summer of 2001, "I just [didn't] believe that bringing the principals over to the White House every day and having their counterterrorism people have to come with them and be pulled away from what they were doing to disrupt was a good way to go about this." Moreover, Clarke wasn't allowed by the Bush administration to interact directly with the Cabinet.

Those differences were critically important because, as Rice said, longstanding "systemic" problems hampered coordination of efforts and proper sharing of information in and between the CIA and FBI. And that's just the point: In a high-threat period, getting the top-level people together and pushing them hard was the only way to break through the bureaucratic inertia. Rice's failure to do that meant the FBI, in particular, didn't learn of information about Al-Qaida operatives already in the United States or about suspicious men of Middle Eastern origins taking flight instruction.

Rice didn't create the systemic problems she spoke of, but knowing about them and then failing to do the logical thing to overcome them in the face of an urgent threat is unconscionable.

As Commission Member Jamie Gorelick reminded Rice, the report of the Hart-Rudman Commission, a comprehensive, three-year effort timed to be available for the incoming administration, warned early in 2001 that the United States would get hit "big" and that the FBI wasn't working the way it should to discover and foil such a plot. Hart-Rudman also was ignored.

• The title of the Aug. 6, 2001, Presidential Daily Briefing was revealed Thursday: "Bin Laden Determined to Attack Inside the United States." The briefing also, according to Commission Member Bob Kerrey, warned that "the FBI indicates patterns of suspicious activity in the United States consistent with preparations for hijacking."

Rice gave a two-pronged answer: The Aug. 6 document was "historical" in nature -- meaning, apparently, it looked back -- and that all through the summer, federal agencies, including FBI field offices, had been "tasked" with investigating this information.

But the language from the memo certainly doesn't sound "historical," and as for tasking federal agencies, Gorelick responded: "Secretary Mineta, the secretary of transportation, had no idea of the threat. The administrator of the FAA, responsible for security on our airlines, had no idea. Yes, the attorney general was briefed, but there was no evidence of any activity by him about this.

"You indicate in your statement that the FBI tasked its field offices to find out what was going on out there. We have no record of that."

Commission Member Tim Roemer came back to the same point: "We have done thousands of interviews here at the 9/11 commission. We've gone through literally millions of pieces of paper. To date, we have found nobody -- nobody at the FBI who knows anything about a tasking of field offices."

The exchanges between commission members and Rice reveal a criminal lack of interest in trying to prevent an attack on the United States that the administration had strong reason to expect. It's one thing to wait for a new strategic plan before taking the fight to Al-Qaida in Afghanistan and Pakistan. It's another entirely to ignore evidence that mounted all through 2001 that the United States was about to be hit. Almost nothing of a defensive nature was done to guard against -- to prevent -- the horrific spectacle that unfolded on Sept. 11.

End editorial inclusion

It is surely time for this nation to expunge the vermin inhabiting our government; those both in the Executive Branch and those in the Congress. There is no excuse not to do so and anyone in government that dares at this point to tell you that it is simply a matter of this administration underestimating the threat coupled with systemic problems in infrastructure, tell them clearly and loudly that they are aiding and abetting the enemy and are in direct contravention to their oaths of office. Don’t expect the enemy to simply turn over and admit to being just that: they mask themselves in the noble cloaks of righteousness and commitment to the national security interests. If what they have done and how they skirt around the real questions and issues is an indication of commitment, they belie their own involvement.

Families of 9-11 victims and people from the general public proudly suspicious of government complicity in 9-11 should be free to confront the witnesses since the real jury of peers are not those on the 9-11 Commission but the American public. Based on what we heard someone should have long ago launched a national referendum to have a recall election on the sitting President and his administration. Greg Davis may have been bad news but what we have spent our time on are putative crimes against the nation and the national interests. Again, can you imagine if the questions and points we proffered were asked the witnesses at the public 9-11 hearings? However, how can we expect that when we daily confront a rigged national media and press that fails to take on these questions and points themselves and thereby shows the complicity of their owners and management in the overall game plan?

The enemy as it usually does cloaks itself in the flag of patriotism and holds itself out as serving the national interests. Succinctly put, it is time in this country’s history to elect a new President from the random population: no one so selected could do any worse or prove themselves a worse enemy of this country than those now in office. They have no respect for us and we have no respect for them.

PS.  Remember Madrid. Terrorism is nourishment to Bush. It is the only issue he can win upon and invoke an attack on Iraq and Syria so the N.W.O. will allow him a second term. His big ace is finding WMD in a timely manner to boost his poll numbers for the election. But as Cheney sought to encourage in May 2002, the more terrorism the more Bush can argue that his presidency should continue since he is best situated to deal with it. Thus, it helps him politically and can lay the foundational predicate to move against Iran and Syria.

Thus Bush wants terrorism to rear its head.. You don’t think the dupe Sharon killed Sheik Yammin in his wheelchair out in the open without permission from Bush? Sharon was probably aghast that he got the green light. Now Sharon comes to the US and Bush gives him just what Bush needs to spur the PLO and Osama cells to move ahead on attacking Israel and other metropolitan centers. Bush is betting that Israel will be hit and his other primary choices are England the USA.

Think about the beneficial consequences for Bush of major terrorism right in here against Israel, England or the USA. Look, those complicit in 9-11 are without conscience to taking innocent life. They proved that what they seek is to implement personal agendas and designs. The one Bush is interested in is winning a second term, promising to himself that he would not be out of office like his father.

Bush has left the Palestinians and the Islamic terrorist cells little alternative but to act now rather than to wait until after the elections. Saudi Arabia will do its best to encourage terrorists to sit tight.

SenderBerl’s suggestion: We believe the Saudis will prevail in keeping in check the type of terrorism the Bush cabal has long sought. However, please understand that those complicit will if necessary do whatever is necessary to see major terrorism take place to help them complete their original mission (Syria and Iran).

Again, terrorists may have may have planned to hijack a plane and drive it into a US property but we assure you that no Islamic cell carried the sophistication to pull off what was witnessed on 9-11 – and there is not way they could have avoided detection by the National Security Agency. If they really committed the crime, this administration wouldn’t have all that it has to hide and this government would be answering the questions and issues. However with government and the media in N.W.O. control, public theater continues and it is up to we the people to push those among them carrying fear of G-d and some rudiment of conscience to stand up and tell the world the truth of that fateful morning. This is what is necessary to save our country, if it can be saved at all at this point of time.
