OTTAWA, May 16 (Reuters) - An attempt to broaden Canada's hate-crimes laws to include protection for homosexuals has sparked a fierce debate in Parliament over whether the Bible and the Koran could be branded as hate literature.

NEW YORK, May 13 (JTA) — Where pressure and persuasion have failed to grease the wheels of Israeli-Palestinian peace, cash will. At least that’s the thinking behind a new campaign powered by such figures as actor Ed Asner, novelist Michael Chabon and cartoonist Art Spiegelman. They and other celebrity Jews, academics and religious leaders have signed on to a petition by the group Jewish Alliance for Justice and Peace, titled “A Call to Bring the Settlers Home to Israel.”

LOOK AT THE REALITY THAT IN JUST THE PAST HANDFUL OF DAYS WE UNCOVERED THE ABOVE STORIES, ALL SUGGESTIVE THAT WE ARE HEADED FOR A DIRE CONSEQUENCE.
THE BIBLE AS HATE LITERATURE! CAN YOU BELIEVE WHAT THIS GENERATION HAS UNDERMINED TO THE DISGUST TO THOSE WHO SACRIFICED AND PRAYED THAT WE HAVE WHAT WE HAVE TODAY, WHRE THEY NOW WATCH THIS GENERATION SQUANDER OUR PRECIOUS TREASURES AND HERITAGE!
